Serial "Week after week" - Third Army Battle Route from August 1, 1944 to May 8, 1945

In May 2015 Pilsen will celebrate the great 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the liberation by US Army!

At that occasion, the Marketing Department of the Municipality of the City of Pilsen presents unique serial „Week after week“ which documents the Third Army Battle Route from August 1, 1944 to May 8, 1945 under the command of General George Smith Patton, led his troops from Normandy across Europe towards Czechoslowakia.

Serial „Week after week“ was created by Mr. Milan Jíša, curator of Patton Memorial Pilsen and will be published every Friday from August 1, 2014 to May 8, 2015. It is enclosed with photos and maps.
